MB Roadside Assistance, is it denied to Gray Market cars?

Does anyone know the answer to this?

Also, what about denial of logistical support, MB dealers refusing to work on them, or difficulty in insuring them? How much of this is a problem? I have heard some stories, that indicate thesee are problems that exist, but what have you know for certain?

See, if you require what people know for certain nobody answers. Some dealers work on them, other don't. Some insurance companies take them, other don't. You wouldn't want to go to a dealer anyway. I've never heard of an independent shop refusing to work on them. I'd say they are a little bit of a challenge but not really a problem. But it depends to some degree on what you're talking about - how old, what model, what engine?

When I had my gray market '83 280SE, I never had any problem getting roadside assistance from MBUSA. MBUSA provide a jump for that car at least twice that I can remember. Once in NW Indiana and once in NW Arkansas; this was during the '90s.
