Is this a DIY project?

On the Pass. side of the Trans. is the Kickdown Solenoid Switch. I replaced all 3 O rings and i still see a leak. I think it is coming from the Push Start Thingy just above the Kickdown Solenoid. I was told that there is an O ring that may be leaking. If i remove this, will things come flying out ,or is it safe to just remove and replace the O ring?

Can't you resize the picture to posting-allowed size, listed from the 'Manage attachments' button?

There is no "push start thingy" on those transmission, although there is a output driven secondary pump. It's not there so you can pushstart, although you can.

Check with a transmission shop, it may be worth your time and money for them to do it right.
