Can't solve!!
 

1987 560 SEL
Cold or warm on initial start up seems to run on 2 cyclinders (misses bad), then after about 2 miles of driving it "cleans up", if you stop and it sits more than a few minutes the same thing upon start-up.

All new wires/plugs cap and rotor!

Please any help would be appreciated.

are injectors new?


they usually only last for 100k.

I know this post is on the old side but if you check into the fuel accumulator you may find it leaking down not holding pressure,this could be your problem.Pull the return line from it (be sure to clamp off the line,)keep your self from a gas bath,see if fuel comes out of the metal tube that the hose was attached to, run the car shut it off try this and see if you get more than a drip,if so replace it.JNT:laugh2:
