baby seat in a W124?
Hi, does the early model W124 need anything special installed in order for a baby seat to be placed in the car? Or do you just put the seat belt straps through the baby seat's harness? Sorry for the dumb question, I never had to put in any baby seats before so I have no idea.

That's all you can do.
There is no top connection available. Mercedes provides no instructions for retrofitting one. Good to press the seat into the car's seat when getting belt tight. Rebound of car's seat will then serve to further tighten things up.

In our 124 wagon, the side seats will require a locking clip. It looks like this http://www.babyproofingplus.com/item553.htm. The center seat doesn't need the clip.
