OBDII question
Hi all,
What exactly should I check for if I'm getting a P0455 (EVAP Control System Leak Detected) in a 97 S600? The gas cap is tight but I haven't replaced it, any thoughts? Thanks |
That can be a tough code for even a seasoned technician.
There are at least 5 different components & hoses and the fuel tank itself that can cause that code...we start by using scanner to activate the system & then using a smoke machine to see if there are leaks. |
