I have a bottle of the 000-989-2103 MB transmission fluid and it is red.
Hope this helps.

Could people be putting power steering fluid in the trans? It's common to use ATF in the P/S pump.

Isn't the new backwards compatible fluid for the 722.9 transmission purple? Does the old dirty red and the new purple make green when mixed?

BTW, great to have someone here from PGA.
