Today I discovered the cause of the gsoline odor coming from the engine. There was a steady drip coming from the EHA valve that is mounted on the back of the fuel distributor. (little black two inch cube with electric connector)
Are EHA valves similar to water pumps in that they will leak through pre-drilled holes when the part fails? There are two holes in the EHA valve that appear to be leaking gas.
However there are two O Rings that act as gasgets for the valve. They might also be the cause of the leak. I'd hate to spend $150.00 for a part when all I need are two tiny O rings.
Does anyone have experience with EHA valves?
Smiles.
