That's a beautiful car with that many miles on it. (I find that personally inspiring) I like the chrome W140 wheels on it, but personally don't like the idea of chromed wheel arches.

I am inclined to agree with you. But only because the front strips are giving me a problem when I enter a driveway or drive over a speed bump while the wheel is turned. (rubbing.) With the front lowered like it is, which I truly love, I make tire contact at times. Once I entered my driveway at speed and pulled the damn thing off on the drivers side.

To attach the strips, I had to pull down the lip a little so I could get the screws to make contact. The PO had the lips crimped way back so the front tires would not rub.

I'll give it a little more time. We'll see.
