Need help with rear view transmitter
 

Hi all,
I have been trying to program the rear view mirror transmitters (on a 97 S600) with my garage door opener but I cannot get it to work. Anybody any experience with that? Thanks

Is your door operator much newer than the car? It's probable that it only supports older protocols.

My '96 E has buttons on the driver's sun visor, and they work with the older rolling-code receivers, but not with the two-year old unit that we have in the garage.

You can't expect the manufacturer to support protocols that haven't been developed at the time.

Have you tried www.homelink.com ?
