Fluid Leak.
I recently purchased a 1995 E320 with 184,00 miles. I notice an engine oil leak that is inconsistant as to the amount of leakage, I believe that it is coming from the timing cover but I am not sure there is a considerable amount of build up in that area. It leaks on to the sway bar and a "trans cooler line?". But sometimes only a drop will be on the ground and sometimes much more. Any suggestions? Is it okay to spray a degreaser on the front part of the engine if one of these gaskets up front have failed, without causing damage to the area beyond?
