My 92 400E's trunklid is stuck shut

I am able to centrally unlock doors but the trunk would not open. I have turned the keyslot at the trunk to the left already, no click or anything.

In my 85 300D, there was a cable I can pull under the rear seat to pop the trunk open. Is there something similar in the 124 body?

If not, what would be the best way to open the trunk at this point?

No cable that I know of,,,, this could be a real problem. We still get an occasional older Honda that the door latch is locked and most of the time we have to cut the door apart to get the door open. Of course then a new door has to be obtained. If I'm not mistaken there is a steel bulkhead behind the rear seat preventing you from getting into the trunk and messing with the lock from inside. Like I said,,, this could be a real problem.

Hopefully its this easy.

The trunk on my 1990 300e gets stuck closed sometimes,
All I have to do is push down fairly hard on the trunk and push the button
and it always opens. It takes a little finesse but always works.
