How to set garage door opener Need help please ASAP
 

Dear All,
I do not have my owner's manual and do not know the steps on how to set my home-link system to open my garage door. It is a 2000 E320 Designo. Would some one who has a 2000+ model look in their manual and send me the instructions please. I would appreciate it.

when i was at the dealer in 2000 they told us to refer customers to www.homelink.com that may not still be valid, there is a video that shows you how to program, i don't believe the instructions were in the owners manual, i have acess to online owners manuals in pdf, i will see if i can get you one.

the manual i found doesn't appear to be designo specific, but i don't think any were. it is in a 15mb pdf file

here is a shot from the book i downloaded about the door opener, save the image to your computer so you can zoom in and read it, it is kinda rough, or i will try to email the entire owners manual

what is the max file size you can receive? did you look at the home link video? it is good also

Well, I didn't look at the video but I read the instructions at the homelink site and I got it to work. Pretty straight forward. Thanks! I don't really know how big of a file I can receive. I have a regular yahoo account but recently they increased the attachment size.

log in to yahoo, we can do a file transfer, i am mercedessd1 there and am logged in
