W124 / M104: Air Temp Sensor. Where can I buy this sensor?
 

Hi,

I've been serching on the web for a week trying to find the Air Temp Sensor (intake air / inyeccion) for my 95 E320 Sedan but I just can't find it in any online store. It's out of stock. Where can I find it?

BTW, the car is running perfectly but code 3 (Intake air temprature sensor) and code 41 (CAN comunication from engine control module faulty) on pin 8 (ECU) keep coming back for the last 2 months. I just want to replace the sensor to see if I get rid of those codes. I don't like to have any code active on my car. Check engine light has never turned on.

Codes 3 and 41 on pin 8 are related?
 

Another question: do you think codes 3 (sensor) and 41 (CAN comunication) are related to the same sensor problem or do you think I have 2 different problems to solve?

I mean, replacing the IAT sensor will probably solve the CAN comunication isue?

Hi, I tried with Phil some time ago when I needed some other parts but unfortunately he can't accept foreign credit cards.

Why don't you clean the sensor ..and test it

Western Union?

If Phil has the part, there has to be a way you can purchase it by transferring funds to the U.S.

I take it that your local dealer does not have the part?
