I could use a little help rewiring my ignition switch.


The wiring harness has the following wires coming from it:

Red Wire
Red Wire
Pink with red stripe
Pink with green stripe
Pink with yellow stripe
Two purple wires in one connector
Green with a white stripe

The Ignition switch has the following terminals

P30
15R
50
30
15X
30
15


Can someone connect the dots?

Don't have a diagram at home but the RED wires go to circuit 30.
The purple go to circuit 50.
The pink/green should go to 15X.
The small wire should be green/white should be P30.
I *think* the pink/red is circuit 15,
& that would leave the pink/yellow for circuit 15R.

The difference between 15 & 15R is that 15R is the accessory circuit.

can some one tell me how to remove the wiring harness in a 1991 MB 300D w124 2.5 turbo diesel car??? please if you can!!! i have all of the dash opened from under the steering wheel all i need is the harness not the switch or the tumbler i need to get to tap to the wires for a remote start module
