I'd like to thank all of you for your recommendations previously posted.
The car is 174K KM. It needed some work. I changed both engine mounts and both accumulators. I need to ask about many things to the previous owner but didn't have time to chat with him. The car runs great as long as the wallet is running :splat: . It consumes fuel like a thirsty man with cold water in the hot summer :redbite: .

I'll answer any question related to a 600SEL with pleasure. :)

Wow, you just purchased one of M/B's most well known money pits.

For premium it's 60 Fils (around 19 cents) per liter.
1 gallon = 86.5 cents. What about in US?

$3.30 a gal. and climbing . . .

For Premium unleaded (91 octane), we're about $3.60 / gallon in Southern California.

In the Netherlands € 1.5/Liter, $ 5.80/gallon.

Wow if I lived over their I'd drive an S600 as well, screw fuel economy when its that cheap! :D

Premium is $3.50ish in my neck of the woods. So filling up that 26 gallon tank the W140's come with is rather expensive!

Gas is only .85 cents a gal here in the US , before TAXES.........
