Cruising through ebay, I saw this unfortunate 500SEC. Why do some people do this kind of destruction? A Silver Interior! The car died from a broken heart! :(

But the interior....I think I might have thrown up a little.

It's a 500SEC and I e-mailed the owner about it.

i heard someone once said "nobody ever went broke by underestimating the bad taste of the american public" or something to that effect. usually i think it is wrong but occasionally......

It looks like they painted the leather with spray paint.

Thats why they make Civic's, people like that should be banned from buying good cars.


Mercedes needs a response team, made up of 2-3 black G500's and a car carrier. Pull up to the house, 6 guys wearing sun glasses and dark suits get out, knock on the door. MB lawyer "due to horrible taste you will be getting your Mercedes reposed, you are also added to a list that prevents you from buying another" owner "what my car!" (as they winch it on the flat bed, and throw a dark tarp over it) MB lawyer "we will be taking this thing away for proper disposal, a new Honda will be delivered later. Please do not attempt to purchase another Mercedes, sign here."

One hour later:
Truck pulls up to a junk yard, big crane picks up said car, drops it into a crusher and the car becomes a cube.:D

I epsecially liked the part about the hard to find Lorinser rims and the pics of the bubbling paint near the wheels, ugggghhhhh rust. I agree the car needs to be put out of its suffering and misery. Not only does it suffer from abuse, but bad taste in interior modifications as well. Who knows though, maybe someone on ebay will be crazy enough to buy it and spend countless thousands restoring it, I think after a certain point some things are over with and this car is one of them.
