91 190e tramsmission abd serpintine

Ok im new to the forum so I might make some mistakes. I have a 190e w/239585 miles on the way home I lost my serpintine belt, I was close to home so I kept driving to the point that the engine died from being to hot. I replaced the belt the next day and went to drive the car and it would not shift into second or thired. have had no problems with the trans. reverse and first are fine just wont **** up into second or thired. any help would be cratefull as that i just moved at az. and really cant afford to rebuild the trans.
