ammeter -dashboard problem
 

As an owner of a 77 450sl I have had terrific help from various members on this forum. On my 63 corvette, the corvette forum is very limited[. My problem with my 63 corvette is that the ammeter went blooy! First the windsheild wiper had a delayed start, then it had a delayed stop. at that point the ammeter started to buzz and the red needle went left and flat. (dead).question: Is there any easy way to remove ammeter from dash withut removing all the dash switches as per manual? Any source for good used or rebuilt ammeter? any advice appreciated.
