Good Day
Is this a relatively easy job to do oneself? Are there any particularly important aspects to bear in mind? I am told (by another home mechanic!)that starting off right with engine at TDC, then marking positions of distributor etc, will make re-assembly easy. I sort of follow this logic but don't yet quite know what one does with the camshaft chain(s)and markings when and while the head is being removed. I am trying to track down a manual from somewhere but may not be lucky. Any accumulated wisdom or guidance on aspects this gasket change will be very much appreciated. Sincerely Ed Cumings |
