W210-E300D Climate Control-Heating/cooling Fan
 

Hello:

I have a 1997 W210-E300D model that has issues with the heating/cooling fan. With the ignition on (car not running), the fan kicks in normal and is function with the fan on max. After that if any adjustment is made to the speed of the fan (car in running mode), the fan behave irratically. It may run slow or kick in at high intermittently. During this irratic mode, the air that blows is cold. A new Behr fan and regulator was put in 2004. Any suggestions on what the problem might be?

Also, if someone has the white center fan motor mount? Mine is broken at one of the lock tabs.
