Question M119 headgasket job, a DIY job?

I got an offer to purchase a 94 E420 with a blown head gasket cheap. I am wondering if the Head gasket job is a DIY job. I don't have a engine hoist, so i can only do it with the engine in the hood. on my existing 400E, same motor, i replaced the water pump, radiator, hoses, distributors cap and rotors, fan clutch, R&R the crank pullet. I know little bit on the front of the motor because I removed & install many components off the front of the engine for my 400E. I never did a head gasket job before, so i like to know if this job is over my head.
