Can't run M.B/C.D on Fire Fox

What plugins do i need to run this CD? It will only run on IE but it switches over to a small window in Adobe Reader.

Upgrade to IE7, Download Adobe Acrobat Reader and never look back at Fireflop again.

I have no problem running mine under Firefox (I will not take up the religious war between IE and Firefox and Opera and....). I have the Foxit reader installed to view the PDFs, and nothing special installed as far as packages.

I have however had problems with running it under IE, but nothing I couldn't get around easily.

Can you open the .htm files directly? My biggest problem was getting into the main menu - seems the startup stuff is a little screwy on some systems.

I have Adobe Acrobat version 7? After the cd goes through the intro a pop-up informs me i am missing a plugin. For some reason it is not going directly to A A Reader.

it's an all-purpose .pdf reader that came with my Firefox. I didn't install the Adobe Acrobat reader, as all the features I need are included in Foxit.

http://www.google.com/search?q=foxit+reader&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-USfficial&client=firefox-a

That should do it!

FYI, I have no trouble using FF and any of the MB software.

or just go straight to the file on CD

I copied for example my w116 cd to my C: drive to the folder c:\benzo_116 then the URL in firefox to get the vehicle selection matrix is :

e.g. file:///C:/Benzo_116/program/matrix6.htm

you can also double click via explorer on {cd location}\program\matrix6.htm assuming FireFox is your default browser.

or in my case same as above c:\benzo_116\program\matrix6.htm

Sure wish foxit would do a plug-in for Firefox...adobe has become a bloated pig that trashes my system.
