Fuel Pressure Gauge for SLK230 Kompressor...anyone have one to loan/rent?

I'd like to check to see if my cold start problem is related to fuel pressure leaking down overnight - not sure if there is a special fitting on these that requires me to buy the MB gauge set but it is a costly investment at about $300 so I was hoping someone out there has a pressure gauge that will work on this engine who will loan or rent it to me for a couple of days so I can measure my pressures after shutdown.

Or does anyone know of an inexpensive pressure gauge that will fit the test fitting on this car?

Isn't that a standard flare fitting??
I have a home-made one made from a R12 valve line fitting.

I'll check into it, I hadn't thought of trying that. I know many cars use a standard schrader valve on them but thought MB used some special proprietary fitting.

Maybe that one does , but I know all the fuel rail test ports I work on just have a shreader the same size as a standard R12 fitting.. I just use a 1/4 pipe to flare adapter on guage and a short hose I made up for gas with a R12 fitting on the end to depress the test port fitting...
$5 should do it.

Thanks for the tip...I have several old R12 hoses around so if that works I am all set. I could even use an old R12 gauge I have to measure pressure.
