2005 C230 Kompressor oil change
 

I wanted to for the first time do my own oil change on my C230 but I am going to ask a very stupid question. Where is the oil filter located? I checked in the owners manual but I could not find it and I check under the hood but yet no luck.

it is on the drivers side by the rear of the engine right near the firewall, has a plastic dome shaped top with a hex head
