1997 W202 C230 - Right Turn Signal Busted?
1997 W202 C230 - Right Turn Signal Busted?
Well I've got an electrical issue. The left turn signal works perfectly. The hazard lights work perfectly (including the right side front and rear flashing lights). Everything else electrical works normally. When I put use the turn signal stalk to turn on the right turn signal, the lights don't signal (flash/light up) and it makes a buzzing sound. Anyone know? Any help appreciated.

Sounds like it's time to replace the combination switch. Do a search and you'll find lots of info on how to replace it and maybe some ideas on how to confirm this it indeed the problem. Also search my forum name "forp" for some threads on this.
Good Luck, Dan

I had a lamp out in the rear. I don't remember if it was turn or tail. The problem in that case was the solder "bump" on the bottom of the bulb had worn out. Now that I think about it I think it was the brake light. Anyway, you will want to check out the bulb.

The hazard light and the turn signal use the same bulb. If the hazard light works but the turn signal does not, the problem is not the bulb.
