Super Tech ATF Dexron-III/ Mercon acceptable for '95 E320??>>
Or, do I need to get something better...??? Looks like a very easy job for this next weekend...
TIA!! -GH |
That's OK.......don't forget the filter and drain the Torque Converter..
|
Got It! Is the 6 quarts that I bought going to be enough, or will I need more?
Thx for the speedy reply! -GH |
Closer to 7 b/c of filter change and you are dropping the pan...[ which you want really clean before you put it back on]

Cool, Thanks for the help. Here's what I have: New Pan Gasket, Transmission Filter, Copper washer for drain plug on pan, and also a new transmission torque converter drain plug...
I have done an ATF service twice before on my Ford Taurus and both times it was really pretty simple stuff... I just want to use proper fluids, etc. as to not screw anything up... Thanks again, -GH |
That ATF would be fine, I have used it before.

Not sure if it applies in your case, but in mine, the transmission pan uses a copper washer; the torque converter uses an aluminum washer.
