What are all these ports for on an M120 PS Pump
I have an M-120 Engine with complete accessories and I want to put it into another car. The engine came out of a 1996 SL600 which had PS and other hydraulic stuff all apparently driven off the same pump. It looks like it may be a seperate pump for PS and another for hydraulics all in the same body.
I just want to hook up the power stearing to this pump and I would like to know which port is the inlet for PS and which is the high pressure outlet. Can anyone identify them in the attached picture. The M-120 will be put into the car shown in the link below. http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=178997. John Roncallo |

You have 2 leveling system ports & 2 p/s ports.
Fluid(s) must flow thru both or the pump WILL seize.

So they are seperate pumps on one common shaft. That means Im going to need a reservoir that does nothing but feeds fluid to the leveling pump. Maybe I can modify the PS reservoir to feed both pumps. Thank You John Roncallo |
