need help(again)
 

i got a 1988 300te that has the left side (spare tire area)cover panel that will not un lock. i have tried making a wire to trip the latches and just cant get the job done.
most time i have a spare car to experiment with ,not this time.
question, has anyone totally removed the panel,i was thinking that maybe i could peal the carpet from the hinged lower area and that maybe i could lift it up from the bottom and get to the hooks that hold it latched at the top.
any help is appreciated.
