air flow petentiometer question

Seems as though the air flow pot on my 190e has gone flaky. Resistance is very erratic when measured on the wiper.

Anyone know if there is still a source for these (discontinued by Bosch 1/1/07)?

Unplugged car runs better hot but stalls repeatedly when engine is cold, why?

Thanks,

Dana

Dana,The potentiometer has the duty of not allowing the rpms to drop to low on deceleration. This of course is why it is stalling. You are correct in the need to replace. Though the last I read it was no longer available, I think those corp. leaders may have realized the profit lose by not making it only available as a complete unit!:scream:
