refrigerant pressure reading

Currently the pressure reading on the low port for the refrigerant is about 29 on the gauge for the indie mechanic. He is not sure what the specifics are for the 00 E430. Would someone be kind enough to post what the pressure should be. The A/C is not as cold as it should be with the current reading.
thanks.

29 does seem a little low if it is a 134 system. Want to have it roughly between 35 and 45 but other factors are important in determinig this pressure like the outside temperature and speed of your blower.

what's your high side reading and the corresponding temp?

As noted above, it does sound low from the info you have provided. Best bet is to pull the system down and re-charge as 134 leaks/boils off @ a ratio different from it's original blend.

While it is still best to evacuate and recharge by weight, it's not because of a blend; R134a isn't one.
