no fire

I am looking at a 1992 400 se 8 cylinder 4.2 the guy says that the engine starts and runs but is not firing on one cylinder, what's up with that ?

In other words the automobile has a miss. Check the distributer, rotor, spark plugs and plug wires. If any or all of these show extensive wear then give the car a tune up.

Thank you sir, are you aware of any other common promblems with this type mercedes 1992 400 SE V8 4.2
