On MB (like S500)with IR reflective windshield (I think this is '01s and newer), are toll collection transponders (like EZ Pass) blocked, requiring an external transponder? I have heard diametrically opposing views on this, with some saying they work in the area of the windshield set aside for radar detectors, etc., and others saying they won't work. If anyone is using an EZ Pass in an '01 S500 could they please report their experience. Thanks.
