Non-resistor wires and resistor plugs?

Since it's becoming a PITA to locate non-resistor plugs for the M103s and M116/7s... has anyone purchased a set or built a set of non-resistor plug wires and used common, resistor plugs?

Seems like this would alleviate many problems..........

The plug wires are solid core , no resistance wires...
It is the plug connectors that are the resistors.

Understood - I think he is asking if anyone has rigged up something that eliminates the resistance ends in order to be able to use resistor plugs since the non-resistors are now history?

I too would like to know.

Exactly.

Resistance levels will be better but still not right. Removing the resistance (1Kohm end) from the wire/end will still give you 4Kohms resistance whilst using resistance plugs and non resistor wires.

Couple that with the resistance in the cap/rotor and you are still beyond the 5Kohm max as specified by DB.

I can still get them...granted, not quite as readily as I used to..

NGK's or Beru's are your best bet these days.
