No start in park

Recently my shifter has gotten sloppy in my 420sel. What I mean is that I can shift it into D and all is well, but if I drop it into 3 and back into D, it really wont engage in D unless I shift it to N first. I figure I have some bushings that need replacing. Now on occasion, say 1 out of 3 times when I go to start the car it will not start in park, but it will in neutral. Im not sure if thats still a bushing problem or a NSS.
