300ce HID CONVERSION
I have a 1992 300ce with European Depo headlights. I want to install an HID kit, but I don't see how its possible. Since the HID requires positive and negative, where would I acquire both positive and negative from the one wire that feeds the current headlights. I might be wrong, I did a little reading, but I am still unclear on how they install.
Any input would be much appreciated. |
Also if anyone knows a really good brand of HID xenons for the w124.
Thanks |
HID Kit
You might have to cut the connectors, I had a 300e with Euro light and the original plug don't fit, I you have H4, the the HID kit should fit with the H4 kit.

HID conversion
I have 2000 ML 430 and get a hold of 2005 ML 500 HID headlights and was wondering what is the procedure to convert my Non-HID to 2005 ML HID. I am mechanically incline.

There is no HID lighting available for the W124.

YES, there IS. Do a projector retrofit HID setup like I have. Takes time and a bit of money, but it CAN be done.

Greetings Everyone. :)
Please see this related thread: R129 HID Conversion http://www.benzworld.org/forums/r129-sl-class/1383511-r129-hid-xenon-conversion.html Best Regards, Ken |
See, now THAT HID kit is terrible. Bright, glare, non focused beam pattern. Retrofit proper projectors in with true D2S bulbs or you're a ricer.
