Can someone tell me how to remove the front dome lamp assembly in a 1999 C230K? It doesn't appear to have any screws holding it to the structure above it and I can't seem to see any clips holding it to the ceiling.

One source I found illustrated pushing the mirror forward and down (causing it to snap out of it's holder) and this exposes the tab that holds the dome lamp assembly. I tried this, but the mirror didn't feel like it wanted to snap out of its holder (without breaking something) so I stopped.

I think there just has to be clips holding the thing in its recess, but I can't seem to find them.
