190E fuel problem

Earlier today I posted a thread that concerned my 190E sputtering and stalling. After about 2 hours I was able to start up the car and it ran like a champ. My gut tells me that there is still something wrong, however. What do you think is happening? I don't want to get stuck.

I had a sputter and stall problem as well. Earlier I had a fuel pump burn out and it took the relay with it. My Indi was able to repair the relay but about a year after he did that it started to sputter and stall. A little while later, it would start up and everything would be fine till the next time. I spoke with another indi and he said his first guess would be the relay since repairs to solder joints are prone to failure. Anyway, I replaced the relay (On the fire wall behind the battery with the A/C relays) and it has been running fine. It's been about 6 months since the replacement. With my MB club discount it ran me about $120 dollars IIRC.

I make no guarantee and your results may vary.:laugh3:
