The 5-cylinder turbodiesels like an '83 123 300D came with a factory spec of .6 bar. the 6-cylinder diesels like in the '87 300TD were spec'd at .9 bar. I have a KKK in a 300D and adjusted the wastegate to .9 A and dropped 2 seconds off my 0-50 mph time. If you go over 1.0 A you run into heat problems.
