2002 C-320 clicking noise under dash board
 

I just bought a 2002 C-320, the day after bringing it home,when ever I start it there is a clicking noise coming from dash board close to air bag. It last sometimes 30 sec and sometimes 1-2 min. The car runs great with no problems. It has 68,000miles. Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunelly a commom problem on the W203 chassis. Most likeky a broken a/c servo motor lever on 1 of the footwell flaps. We see that problem at least once a week.

The repair kit is CHEAP ($10)...but 5-6 hrs to install.

Well mine seems to be when I open the door
Today was first test run & now I hear it when I press the brake pedal
It wasn't like this when I bought it
I think I would have noticed that

I'm hoping its not that 5 hr job
if its not hurting anything
I may have to live w it too
