Gas Leak!!!!!

I got in the car today (1988 300 CE) and smelled gasoline. I looked under the car and there was a small stain of gas just in front of the differential in the center of the car. I could see a drip waiting to fall. It wasn't dripping allot.
Gas tank is about half full.
Any guesses on what could be leaking gas?

The tank is a gravity feed system,in the bottom of tank is a screen filter,o-ring and a hose that feeds the fuel pump(s) don't know if you have one or two,all those are made of rubber(fuel line)( I say fuel line don't use any thing other than hose specified for fuel.) some of the hose is made with a hard line and screws into the bottom of the filter, any who change them all they probably are original.JNT

take off panel that exposes the fuel pumps and filter.there is a line that runs from the output end of the filter and curls around the pumps, start car and watch this line prob has cracks in it . dealer has line pretty cheap.use back up wrench when changing[two wrenches].
