changing subj/poss. hijacking, but Discount Tire is the best. I got a set of cheap Coopers a couple years ago, lasted 20k, so I complained and negotiated a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 225/45/17s for $150 apiece.
Most importantly, they advised rotating AND balancing these every 3k, which they do for FREE.
They seem very customer-focused and the free rotations every 3k for the past 25k (yes, 25k on Z-rated tires and still only 50% worn) has saved them wear, and also saved ME probably $300-$400 in tire maintenence.
Give em a try. If you are a clueless minivan driver and go in there, they will sell you a tire based on class, rating, and price, like it's a drive-thru menu. Go in with knowledge of what tire you want (do your own research), see what they have in stock ( I wanted Pilot Exaltos but the Sports were in stock) and make a deal, and you will come out with a win
