W220 - Start in S or W
 

It seems that whenever I start the car, it is resetting itself to start in "S mode" - 1st gear automatically. I prefer it to start in "W mode".

My old W140 as a physical switch which I can select, but for the W220 switch, can only press to toggle and the selection is shown on the instrument cluster.

Any ideas?

You will have to select "W" each time for a 2nd gear start.

Oh - I prefer to start in 2nd gear automatically but I suppose I can live with it.
