The 1300 ohms is under what condition ? Cold or 80 degC ? The resistance should be high when cold and almost a factor of 10 lower when at 80 degC. Otherwise replace the coolant temp sensor, this tells the fuel computer what air/fuel ratio needs to be set and also the EZL what timing to use. No your EZL does not need replacement.

It is when the car isnt runninng or when its cold. havent gotten a read when its 80 c since the car usually stalls pretty quickly right after starting it. to keep the car running I need to hold gas pedal down. What causes a rich mixture? Does the cold start valve play in the picture?
I dont have any of the special tools including mercedes diagnostis tools or lambda and Im bascially shotgunning the cheap parts. THe parts that cost like 300 and up Im not shotgunning.

There are a number of causes. That is why you really need to pay to get a diagnostics readout. Stuck open cold start valve, dead O2 sensor reading too much oxygen all the time (although the usual failure is to read nothing at all, way rich), bad fuel distributor (that one is expensive), bad leak in the fuel distributor plunger, bad EHA (the latter is fairly common).

A leaking injector will cause one cylinder to be rich, but I'd be surprised if all of them were bad at one.

Do check for good wires and plugs -- bad ignition due to carbon tracks in the cap or a bad rotor can give you black plugs too.

Another uodate

I installed the new OVP and the car was noticeably better. idled much smoother but when it reached 80c it just stalled like always does. The car is much easier to start now as well.

So Im thinking one of the sensors is shot or something in the fuel system.

Another update

I have replaced the fuel pressure regulator and it has improved. I need a wiring diagram that shows the MAS Unit. Where can I get a wiring diagram showing the mas. i have searched the service cd and none of them show it.
Also would a bad OVP fry the mas?
