Dual Fans?

Would replacing my larger single aux fan with two smaller ones to cover the whole condenser be a worthwhile expense? I've noticed the newer mercs have em and it also seems that the vent temps don't climb at all in stop and go traffic.

I wouldn't recommend re-engineering a proven system. In my experience, MB auxiliary fans have always been more than adequate, even under harsh conditions. If you've got cooling system issues, start with the basics.

I dont have engine cooling problems. I have a/c vent temps rising to beyond where I want them. In cars like the ML320, they have dual fans and have no vent temps climbing in stop and go traffic.

E150GT, I have read that to do this you have to change/upgrade the wiring/circuits that control the 1 fan to accomdate the difference in volts/amps to run the 2 fans.

Someone chime in who knows basic electrical circuits!

Depending on the draw of the fans, the parallel load may overheat the circuit, so you may in fact have to either upgrade the wiring and/or use smaller fans.

I'm sure I would use smaller fans, but are dual fans worth the expense?
