euro head lights
 

I know it's been disscussed allot but I want to know where I can get euro head lights/lamps? Some one has told me "I got mine from Katmac" where is "katmac" is there a web site? No one will answer so please help?

i got Katmacs... nice lights good price... i bought mine on ebay...probably 40 dollars less than buying directly from web site

I have my friend in Germany hunting down parts such as euro headlights (German original equipment) If you want I can ask him to get a price for you. What model is your car? W126? Would you want all the stuff such as the vacuum controls for the lights, or just the headlamp assemblies?

I went to that site. Those suck. Why pay so much for lamps that look so close to the oem lamps?
If you go to ebay you can find some under a search for 190e headlamps that are in clear and smoke for less and they look so much better! Plus they come witht he corners (the others do not).
I plan on gettin a pair myself.

CAUTION - European headlights are set up for Right Hand Drive Cars and Left side driving conditions - you cannot adjust the azimuths to compensate for driving on the right side of the road.

So can I get US version of euros?lol that sounds funny. My model is a 1994 MB e420. So should I get these? I want that updated look and beam pattern. What is the diff between right hand drive cars head lamps and left hand drive cars? Why couldn't I just put katmacs on my car? But without problems? Ebay has some that fit. hmmmm......

It's just the way the reflectors are set up - US versions reflect the light forward and right (to the shoulder) if you were driving on the other side of the road you would be reflecting into oncoming traffic - and visa versa for countries that drive on the other side of road.

You have an E420 with the updated hood and lights. There really is no point to going euros on this car.
