W126 Euro Light Conversion

I got a nasty suprise this morning when I went out to my car and found someone had backed into my passenger side lamp assembly. Not sure what it was. The corner light is gone, the headlight is intact and working but pushed back into the engine bay 2-3". Needless to say, I'm going to need a complete new assembly.

I haven't checked prices at the salvage yard as it is Sunday, but have done a search on the Euro light conversion. I found lots of information but still have a couple of questions.

Do I need a new filler panel to fit between the bumper and headlight, or will the US one work? (I dont plan on using any wipers, btw).

How extensive is the wiring alterations, and what is the "city light"?

Fianlly, are these lights easy to aim, already aimed, or is the vaccum adjuster a necessity?

I'm looking at the kit from KATMAC.COM, has anyone had any experience with these guys?

Thanks for the great help, this site has been, and I'm sure will continue to be, the most useful maintenance source I have had since I got my car. '85 300SD, by the way
