Smile people your opinion please

hi guys...

im a diesel guy proud owner of a 1980 300sd...

i am in austin texas and looking to purchase a 1987 420sel

anyone have any reviews on the late 80's mercedes gas engines compared to the diesels?

and just overall opinion on the ride...ie 1987 with 250,000 for 1700 in great shape...

opine please..

If you want to go for V8 get 560SEL not 420SEL. Gas consumption almost the same but performance like earth and sky.

For that kind of money, I'd look for a 124 body (300E).
