I made bad worse. First I had intermitten problems. No fuel when restarting. Replaced gas cap, fuel filter, tank to pumps fuel lines. Seemed to work, then the classic jammed key. I disregarded nice detailed instructions from this web sight. A friend said, lets just yank the tumbler. We did and like an old chevy put in a screwdriver and she turned over. O.K. but I guess mb has a fuel cut out so now no power to pumps. Any ideas ? I know, do it right. Besides that?

Answer:
This car does not have a disabler security system = your issue needs further diagnosis.
Here is the thread you need to study + the titles to review for correct diagnosis. :) Fuel Injection http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=142406 Mercedes-Benz Driveability Evaluating Electronic Engine Controls by Steve Brotherton, Import Specialist Published in: ImportCar∞, February 2001 Testing OVP Help!!
