Genuine MB VS Bosch injector question
 
For 560SEL or 600SEL, does it really make a big difference between the genuine MB and Bosch OEM injectors?

The price is scaring for the genuine injectors specially for the 600SEL, it's about 175$ :behead:

Does Bosch not make the OE MB injectors? Seems like they make all the rest of the fuel injection system.

Yes it does. The brand of the genuine MB injectors is Bosch but they are golden color while the Bosch OEM injectors are black.

Well....then why would you hesitate to use the Bosch injectors?

Am I missing something?

The MB factory injectors are EXACTLY the same Bosch injectors that are in Bosch boxes!

That's really cool. But even if the color is different?

For the 560SEL:
MB ones are gold.
Bosch ones are black.

On my '92 300E (m103), the Bosch injectors were gold color, same as the original MB injectors they replaced.

Never seen any CIS injector from Bosch that was black!

In Kuwait, all of the OEM Bosch injectors are in a black color not golden color.

All OE fuel injector on W124, W126, W201, W107 are made by Bosch.

Just double check the part number from your old one. If same as new Bosch one, will not see any problems after put it on.
