evaporator leak

i have a 2002 C230 Coupe, automatic, the air conditioner wasn't cool enough for my wife, on a recent trip,, so stoped and had it charged up, after a few miles it started blowing the coolent into the car and stop cooling. all the coolent is now leaked out.. shop near my home says its the evaporator leaking, dye test,, now for my question, how hard is it to take the dash out to replace the evaporator???? i am very good mechanically,, but have no knowledge of how to take the dash out of the C230 Coupe to get at the evaporator,,, any one out there who can tell me the correct steps in replacing the evaporator?????
